Downtown Asheville: Find a variety of condos in the central business district, where you will have all the restaurants, shops, and galleries within walking distance from your front door. In the heart of downtown are the new Arras Residences starting at $500,000.
Montford: Bordering Downtown Asheville’s north end is a beautiful historic neighborhood featuring large historic homes with walkability to downtown. Kenilworth: Just southeast of Downtown Asheville is the Kenilworth neighborhood, known for its bungalows and homes from the 1920s. Kenilworth’s location near Mission hospital and central to South Asheville, Biltmore Village, and Downtown make it a favorite neighborhood for families. There is also a mix of multi-family homes in a variety of styles. The area has rolling hills, ravines, and lots of old trees, and is home to some of Asheville’s most unique “Spanish Style” large stucco homes with tile roofs and unique architectural details. West Asheville: Across from the French Broad River from downtown, this funky, fast-growing community has become quite the hot spot in the last decade, evolving from a sleepy blue-collar area into a vibrant artsy community with an eclectic edge. Town Mountain: If you want to live on a mountain in the middle of the city, check out Town Mountain, overlooking downtown. Drive Town Mountain Road from downtown and climb almost 1,000 feet in elevation as you reach the Blue Ridge Parkway. Shiloh: This historically African-American community in South Asheville was settled in the 1880s just south of Biltmore. Residents within this community actively work to preserve the single-family makeup of the neighborhood along with the City of Asheville.
South Asheville: In this part of town, you’ll find Biltmore, Asheville Outlets, North Carolina Arboretum, and the popular neighborhoods of Avery Creek, Royal Pines, and Biltmore Park. along with many newer subdivisions with Hendersonville Road serving as it's "Main Street" with plenty of commercial development.
